Allan Glen's School Club

The school may be gone but the sports club at Bishopbriggs, known as the Bearyards, is still owned by the School Club and is still very active in promoting and playing rugby.

Rugby Club dinner held on 6th May 2005. From left to right:- Sandy Strang (principal speaker), Jim Sinclair (Director of Rugby), Guest of Honour Alistair Kellock, Bob Leckie (President, Allan Glen's RFC), John Macdonald (President, Allan Glen's School Club), George Smith (Treasurer, AllanGlen's Scool Club), and Alistair's father Stewart Kellock. Alistair came through Allan Glen's RFC junior rugby, and now plays professionally for Edinburgh Rugby. He gained his first Scotland cap during this season's Autumn Internationals.
